Annabel Archibald’s lifelong passion for horses began in the UK, eventually bringing her to Australia, where she worked with leading stables like Gai Waterhouse and Ciaron Maher. While with the Maher stable, she worked with top-class horses such as Jameka, Dubious, and Away Game, and led the stable’s expansion into Sydney.
In 2020, Annabel launched her own operation at Warwick Farm, achieving immediate Group 1 success with Mounga in the Rosehill Guineas. This was followed by wins with Zaaki, including the 2021 Doomben Cup, Underwood, and Mackinnon Stakes, cementing her as a rising star in the Sydney training ranks.
Her success continued with Group 1 victories for Zaaki, Top Ranked, and Sunshine In Paris, along with an impressive roster of elite racehorses like Ostraka, Fawkner Park, Learning To Fly, and Libertad. Rob, a vital part of Annabel’s team, was promoted to Co-Trainer in mid 2024, elevating their results to new heights.
