Hellenic Belle stamped herself as a filly of immense promise with a dominant victory in the $200,000 Wellington Boot (1100m), producing another dominant performance to give her back-to-back wins.
The talented two-year-old daughter of Hellbent jumped cleanly from the barriers and was ridden with intent by in-form apprentice Braith Nock, who positioned her perfectly outside the leader throughout the middle stages. Travelling strongly and under a confident hold, Hellenic Belle loomed ominously approaching the home turn.
As the field straightened, Nock allowed her to stride forward and she quickly assumed control at the 400m. From there, it was a one-act affair. She lengthened beautifully, putting the race beyond doubt in a matter of strides before cruising to the line for an impressive 1.25 length victory.
It was a confident and well-judged ride from Nock, who continues to his winning ways for the Triple Crown and Archibald team. The win was another great training performance from Annabel & Rob Archibald and their stable.
Purchased by Triple Crown Syndications for $145,000 at the 2025 Magic Millions National Sale, Hellenic Belle has already more than repaid that investment. From just three starts, she has now amassed $156,625 in prizemoney and, importantly, is showing all the signs of a filly with a very bright future ahead.
Triple Crown’s Chris Ward said, “she’s had talent from day one this filly, but she’s just had to learn her race craft. Annabel and Rob have done a fantastic job with her and you can see that she’s learning with every outing.”

The progeny of Yarraman Park’s stallion, Hellbent, have been in tremendous form and helped their sire entrench his position as one of Australia’s leading sires. “We just love the Hellbent fillies. We have been fortunate to have had great success with them over the years and Hellenic Belle looks to be the next one. It’s exciting times.” Ward said.
With her obvious talent and progressive form, Hellenic Belle looks destined for bigger targets as her career unfolds.
Congratulations to Annabel & Rob Archibald, jockey Braith Nock, and all the winning owners of Hellenic Belle.
